There are many reasons people choose to hire marquees to host their event, but the reason we hear most often from our customers when we're on site setting up is that they love how they can make it their own space and decorate it in a way that fits with their own style rather than being constrained by a village hall/manor house or barn which restricts what you can and can't do in terms of decor. Here at Marquees With Pryde we spend our lives putting up and taking down marquees, and we love it! Here are a couple of videos to show you two different marquee set ups so you can see the difference between two of our tents, Clearspan and Capri. These videos make the set up look incredibly quick and it can be speedy with Capris (when the ground isn't rock hard!) but the Clearspan structures are a little more involved and have more parts so these do take longer. We are pretty excited to unveil new stock for 2015 in the form of clearspan marquees. Up until now we have only stocked capri marquees, which we absolutely love, however we can offer even more versatility now that we have two very different types of marquee to offer our lovely customers. We haven't had the new marquees very long, so we haven't got many photos to showcase as yet, but here are a few pictures we took from our first couple of jobs. We love receiving photos from our customers and here are some great pictures taken from Sarah who celebrated her 40th birthday with a party in her garden in Amersham, Hertfordshire. We thought the decoration both inside and out of the marquee looked brilliant, with the primary colour balloons and sign outside of the tent really highlighting the fun circus theme. The hay bales and gingham blankets around the dance floor were a great touch and perfect for resting sore feet after carving up the dance floor for hours! It's been an incredibly busy season so far for us during 2014 with plenty of weddings, garden parties and birthday celebrations taking place in our marquees. One of the events which we managed to get hold of some great photos from was this Carnival themed corporate event which was held in Milton Keynes. The sun was shining and so the marquee walls were off to allow for the sunshine to fill the venue. We were told the shade provided from the marquee was much appreciated in the heat of the day. There was plenty of entertainment for the employees to enjoy including a mariachi band who looked as if they'd stepped straight out of a Doritos ad! Having just returned from a fantastic family reunion over the bank holiday weekend, we've come to the conclusion that there really is nothing like a good party to get the weekend off to a swing! We're incredibly lucky in this business as we get the chance to be involved in so many exciting parties and knowing that marquees could save the day if the weather turns for the worst makes us feel all the better for providing all the equipment you need to get the party started. Having a birthday in August, you would hope that you'd be blessed with beautiful weather for your special day. However, living in England, we just never know what the weather will do on the day so we have to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. On the day of a very special little lady's 1st birthday party it was unfortunately a very grey and rainy day, but luckily her parents had thought ahead and had one of our marquees booked and it was put up in their Bedfordshire garden.
