  • 28 x 38′ marquee plus equipment were hired for a fancy dress themed 50th birthday party in Amersham, Herts in July 2015

Dave Pryde provided us with a fantastic marquee plus tables, seating and lights for my husband’s 50th in July 2015. On the hottest day of the year Dave turned up with a smile, working tirelessly (and quietly!) to set everything up, returning to take it all down after our party weekend. We and our guests enjoyed a wonderful evening (and next day), and everyone was enchanted with the fabulous transformation of our garden. We have nothing but praise for Dave’s professionalism and friendly service, and the marquee was so splendid that we didn’t want it to go! Thank you so much Dave, we will look forward to contacting you for our next celebration, and we would not hesitate to recommend Marquees with Pryde.

Dave was an absolute hero setting up all the marquees and equipment single-handedly the afternoon before our summer party and we couldn’t believe how quickly the marquees were up and equipment in ready for us to decorate. The day of the party was a beautiful sunny day and the ability to take off all the walls and let the breeze flow through was a dream. I hate to say it, but it was too hot for most of us to stay out in the sun all afternoon, so the shade provided was really welcomed too! A huge thank you to Dave at Marquees with Pryde for an excellent and reliable service. He provided the smallest of his marquees for my very informal 40th birthday garden party. Having the tent really put my mind at rest, the weather was changeable at the time of the party and it was a great relief to have a wet weather option that was also attractive – my friends were amazed how it transformed our garden! I also hired equipment (lighting, tables, chairs etc.) and Dave set everything up for us and removed it all promptly after the party – thank you for delivering a fantastic service and taking the stress out of our event!

“Pride” in your service is exactly what we experienced from you!

Our garden party happened to fall on the windiest, wettest weekend in history and you were absolutely fantastic!!

Not only was the marquee erected in the pouring rain, it was done efficiently and with smiles and courtesy. You arranged an additional marquee at the last minute, when the weather threatened to be even worse than we expected, in order that our guests would be warm and dry all evening.
Nothing was too much trouble and your main concern was us having a great party.

We can’t thank you enough and will happily recommend you to everyone we know.
